It’s a mission that comes naturally to founders Gavin and Michele Cooper, who were both respected designers in their own right when they met and began collaborating on freelance projects. In 2006 they formalized their business partnership with the creation of Cooper Graphic Design. Gavin and Michele’s complementary skill sets give the firm a well-rounded approach that sets it apart from other small studios. Gavin holds degrees in graphic design from Philadelphia University and Tyler School of Art. His proficiency in web design, information architecture and usability was honed during his time working at a large financial institution, where he unified and re-branded the company’s multiple web sites. Michele, on the other hand, draws on her strengths as a print designer, which she developed during her years as a in-house designer and, later, as Senior Art Director at a brand communications firm. She holds a degree in graphic design and public relations from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Together, Gavin and Michele have developed a distinctive, richly textured style that has been recognized with numerous awards. More importantly, they offer a keen understanding of strategy, branding, and results-oriented marketing – making them true collaborators with their clients at every stage of a project.
